Mr. Iftekhar Ahmed Tipu is a successful entrepreneur whose contribution has shaped the transport sector of Bangladesh.Taking up the sole dealership from Ashok Leyland, IFAD Autos Ltd., started out in 1985 as the pioneering company of IFAD Group which has flourished under his leadership to cater to the country’s transportation needs. Throughout the years his ambition and vision had materialized in the form of establishing one of the largest consumer food producing companies in Bangladesh. In addition he had set up a state of the art fish hatchery and also instituted a firm that represents one of the largest industrial compressor supplier in Bangladesh. He had successfully supplied Double Decker buses from Ashok Leyland four times to the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation under the Indian line of state credit... The development of this group of companies exemplifies Mr. Iftekhar’s dynamism and passion that goes behind establishing an organization which remains perpetually involved in the development of the nation. Amassing four decades of experience as a business personality, he had authored one of the best received books that questions national level problems and proposes pragmatic solutions. Thus in his pursuit of enlightening the nation, he had founded “The Daily Nabaraj” a nationally circulated newspaper of which he is also editor in chief. As an active member of society, he held the position of President of Bangladesh Automobiles Assemblers and Manufacturers Association (BAAMA), maintains membership in FBCCI and all major clubs in Bangladesh. Venerated by various entities for his perseverance, investment strategies, management capacity and economic contribution, Mr. Iftekhar has won many business awards. TANVEER AHMED

Tanveer Ahmed is the Managing Director of IFAD group and eldest son the Chairman of IFAD. After completing his university from the United States, he started work in IFAD Autos Ltd. in 2001. In the following year, he had established the sole dealership of ELGI Equipments of India to supply Industrial Grade Air Compressors in Bangladesh as IFAD Enterprises Ltd. It was under Mr. Tanveer's direction that IFAD took the true form of a Conglomerate in Bangladesh by expanding into the Consumer Foods Sector as IFAD Multi Products Ltd in 2005. He believes that as a Brand IFAD has always maintained high standards to it's customers and so it is committed to provide the best quality food that sets itself apart from the rest - not only on pen and paper, but also in practice. What ives testament to his commitment - was the President's SME Award IFAD had received in 2011 for best Quality and Production Practices

Mr. Tanveer was the architect who pioneered the use of HACCP in Flour Production systems for the first time in Bangladesh for ensured hygiene and flour quality - which now has transcended to the ISO 22000 certification. This meant that also all of IFAD's flour based products down the line carried the same quality standard. Going above and beyond in ensuring food safety, the company has currently adopted the BRC (British Retail Consortium) standard and is SEDEX compliant. He is showcased in local business publications such as Arthokontho's Most Influential Young Businessmen but on the global stage he received and accepted The Bizz 2014 Business Excellence Award to IFAD group in Venice, Italy. Mr. Tanveer had spearheaded campaigns that changed the game of Corporate Social Responsibility in Bangladesh. He is the founding supporter of the International Children's Animation and Cartoon Festival in Bangladesh and continues to support it going into its 3rd year. IFAD Go Green & Gomi Zero Bicycle Marathons were the first of its kind as well as IFAD Big Bangla Marathon Run in the city sponsored by IFAD Drinking Water. He stood in support to many more such endurance activities to raise environmental and tourism awareness.

TASKEEN AHMED

Taskeen Ahmed is the Deputy Managing Director of IFAD group and the second son to the Chairman of IFAD. He had attended Independent University of Bangladesh and Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA having earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. He also pursued his MBA at North South University, Bangladesh. Since 1999 he started work in IFAD Autos Ltd. representing Ashok Leyland in Bangladesh which currently supplies the majority of trucks, buses and light cargo vehicles in the market.

Over the last decade vehicle sales of the company had increased ten-fold under his direction and currently markets over 3000 units annually. This development is accorded to his establishment of aggressive sales techniques, customer friendly credit facilities and a robust credit recovery system, which now has brought IFAD Autos Ltd to the forefront of the capital market - having had it's IPO in 2014. He is the acting Managing Director of IFAD Autos Ltd - which has been awarded the title of one of the largest and most credit worthy borrowers by the Bangladesh Bank. In 2003 Mr. Taskeen had taken the IFAD brand name into the country's agro sector having set up a large scale fish hatchery in Bhalukha, Mymensingh under IFAD Agro Complex Ltd (IACL). Accredited by Cornell University and Thai Fish Research Institute, IACL has also been awarded the Prime Minister's Krishi Padak for it's contribution to the country's agro sector. Building upon the established network and brand name in the transportation industry - IFAD Motors Ltd. was established in 2014 led by Mr. Taskeen, that would represent Atul Autos of India serving the three wheeler cargo and passenger market. In November 2015 Mr. Taskeen had taken up the role of President of India Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI).

TASHFEEN AHMED

Tashfeen Ahmed is the Director of IFAD Group and the youngest son of the Chairman of IFAD. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from University of Maryland and earned his MBA from American University in U.S. In 2012 he commenced working for IFAD group by spearheading all branding activities of the group and establishing an in-house agency for design and development.

Following the establishment of IFAD Information and Technology Ltd in 2014 he launched The Digital Professor - a digital solutions provider offering web development and digital marketing services. In 2016 IFAD IT introduced iTracker Vehicle Tracking Solutions as part of the product portfolio. Concurrently, he manages the operations of IFAD Enterprises Ltd - the sole distributor of ELGI Equipments of India to supply Industrial Grade Air Compressors in Bangladesh. Since 2002 serving clients with over 2500 installations across the country and growing. Currently the company holds a leadership position in Industrial Air Compressor Sales and Service coverage in the country. Mr. Tashfeen has also pioneered many campaigns for Corporate Social Responsibility in Bangladesh. He actively supports the International Children's Animation and Cartoon Festival in Bangladesh and founded campaigns to support street children through social media. He manages the philanthropic arm of IFAD Eggy that institutionally undertakes many CSR activities in the country.
